Lifeline

The Lifeline program provides a discount on phone or internet service for qualifying low-income consumers to ensure that all Americans have the opportunities and security that phone and internet service brings, including being able to connect to jobs, family and emergency services.

You may qualify for Lifeline:

  • If you receive assistance programs like SNAP, SSI, Medicaid, FPHA, or Veterans Pension or Survivor Benefit Programs
  • If you receive specific Tribal programs
  • Based on your household income

If your household is eligible, you can receive:

  • $9.25 monthly discount on internet service; or
  • $5.25 monthly discount on telephone only service
  • $34.25 monthly discount for internet on Tribal land
  • $30.25 monthly discount on telephone only service on Tribal land

Service must be active with Centranet before applying for the Lifeline benefit. Benefit will begin when enrollment with Centranet is approved. Please allow up to 30 days for the assistance to appear on your bill.

Tribal lands include any federally recognized Indian tribe’s reservation, pueblo, or colony, including former reservations in Oklahoma, Alaska Native regions, Hawaiian Home Lands, or Indian Allotments.

Lifeline discounts may not be available in all areas served by Centranet Fiber.
